Bob Vylan is an English punk-rap duo known for its politically charged lyrics, high-energy performances, and deliberate use of stage names to protect the members’ privacy. The band gained significant public attention in 2025 after a performance at the Glastonbury Festival led to the revocation of their planned U.S. tour visas.
Formed in 2017 in Ipswich, Suffolk, the group has carved out a unique space in the UK music scene by blending punk rock with grime, reggae, and hip-hop. Their music often features sharp social commentary, addressing issues of systemic inequality, political corruption, and state surveillance.

Following chants directed at the Israeli Defense Forces during their Glastonbury set, U.S. authorities revoked their visas, preventing a scheduled autumn tour. The incident also triggered a criminal investigation in the U.K. and legal action against the BBC.
